Hydranautics Ultrafiltration Membranes

Hydranautics ultrafiltration membranes continuously meet and satisfy the increasing demands of the water treatment industry through their high productivity, outstanding performance, salt rejection, productivity, and savings.  These membranes set high performance standards for the reverse osmosis membrane elements which deliver the highest salt rejection rates available. They can range in size from 4” to 8” elements, delivering the highest levels of salt rejection and an always pure end product. They are designed to accommodate varying levels of seawater salinities worldwide with dependable field-proven performance.

Hydranautics ultrafiltration membranes lower fouling in waste and surface water while having a high fouling potential for reuse and reclaimed applications. These membranes offer superior membrane technology to lower membrane fouling and treatments to treat difficult feed and municipal wastewater. To this point, these applications have significantly required a pretreatment before exposing them to a composite polyamide membrane. These membranes are manufactured with a thicker brine spacer which reduces the Delta P, meeting the increased demand for reduced fouling membranes. This permits a lesser need for frequent cleanings while maintaining a high permeate flow.

With the incorporation of Hydranautics ultrafiltration modules, reverse osmosis membranes can be utilized at the ground level while functioning at higher fluxes with greater durations between cleans.

Hydranautics ultrafiltration membranes are created through unadulterated chemicals that use situ polymer structure formation and a single-step patented manufacturing procedure. Produced for inside/out flow configuration, the inside surface of the capillary thoroughly unmarked during the manufacturing process, providing a fault-free, steady fiber structure, toughness and high surface integrity throughout the fiber. These particular features make the HYDRAcap ultrafiltration membranes are perfect obstacles for bacteria, viruses, and other micropollutants.

HYDRAcap is utilized to remedy water from any source such as seawater, brackish water, or tap water as either pretreatment or primary treatment to nanofiltration or reverse osmosis. HYDRAcap provides better features in comparison to conventional pretreatment since it allows greater fluxes for reverse osmosis and nanofiltration systems while preserving longer intervals between cleanings. Occasionally, it substitutes customary pretreatment for movable applications, water recycling, and brackish water rejuvenating.
