This RO skid includes a high-pressure pump and a touchscreen PLC by Siemens. All the components of this system are compatible with the harsh environment seawater creates. For example, a nonmetallic fiberglass filtration system along with an airtight Siemen control panel is included to isolate the system and prevent corrosion from seawater. Finally, components like the lighting, flooring, air conditioning, and installation make up a unique and high-quality plant.

Pure Aqua builds seawater desalination and desalinators mounted inside standard ISO containers 20′, 40′ or 45’ facilitating transportation. The containerized systems are shipped ready to produce high-quality potable water within days of delivery.

This system in particular included all required pre and post treatment, along with advanced PLC, cleaning system, energy recovery device and other accessories.

Hydranautics SWC5-LD membranes were used in this SWRO containerized plant.

This seawater RO treatment system was fitted in an ISO 40ft HC container with insulation, lighting, metal diamond flooring, AC unit and all interconnecting piping and wiring. The containerized SWRO system met all customer’s requirement and provided a fresh water to the end-user.

Applied Solution: Pure Aqua custom engineered containerized seawater RO desalination system to produce 100,000 gallons per day of potable water from open intake. The capacity of this system is 100,000 gallons per day with the source of the water being an open intake. This system is going to be located in Venezuela and is installed in an ocean freight sea worthy container. The container is insulated, air conditioned, has LED lighting, and all the accessories to make this system effortlessly functional. The system includes feed and backwash pumps which are made of duplex stainless steel to resist the risk of corrosion from seawater. It also includes multi-media filtration followed by a chemical dosing system to perform the dechlorination and antiscalant injections.
