Water Challenges: The challenges of this project was to decontaminate the well water within Djibouti with the usage of reverse osmosis systems for the supply of drinking water. The well water in this project contained an abnormally high amount of pollution such as bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms that greatly reduced the quality of the water. To combat this, a major company in Djibouti requested the provision of RO systems that work to target and eliminate these contaminants from the water and produce ultra pure water that is acceptable as drinking water.
Applied Solution: Pure Aqua manufactured and supplied RO unit to a major company in Djibouti using microprocessor control panel with Pre & Post treatment. The goal of this project was to purify well water that contains a TDS of 3000 ppm. The treated water produced was approximately 33,000 GPD with a TDS of 50 ppm or lower.

Pure Aqua, Inc. designs and manufactures water treatment systems in addition to commercial BWRO plants. In December 2010, Pure Aqua, Inc. successfully manufactured and supplied a commercial BWRO plant to a major company in Djibouti. The objective to treat well water with a TDS of approximately 3000 ppm. The product water capacity was 33,000 GPD with a TDS of 50 ppm or lower. The BWRO plant included with the RO system was prechlorination, multimedia filter, carbon filter, antiscalant, and postchlorination.
