Water Filtration System 4X 72000 GPD - Kuwait

Product Description

Multi-media filters are tasked with the removal of suspended particles from water and service feed water with a turbidity of up to 20 NTU. During filtration, tiny particles move downwards towards smaller and finer media levels. The cracks within these filters trap particles as small as 10 microns. The larger particulates that were rejected are trapped on top of the filtration bed. Activated carbon filtration systems take advantage of carbon because it draws attention to chemicals and impurities. Carbon is composed of a little electro-positive charge that draws contaminants negative ions toward the surface when water is passed over the positively charged carbon surface.

[custom-specifications]

A Water Softener is designed and built to remove minerals that cause hardness in water. It is highly recommended to use a water softener to refrain from negative outcomes such as clogged pipes, damaged boilers, and heated exchangers. Household, commercial, and industrial water systems suffer greatly from lime scale deposits as a result of hard water. Lime scale build-up can cause pipes to clog up and decreases the efficiency of hot boilers, tanks, and laundry machines. Water softener systems are designed to improve the work and extend the life span of laundry machines, pipelines, solar heating systems, air conditioning units and many other water-based applications.

[custom-features]

Pure Aqua manufactured and supplied four (4) Water Filtration systems to a major company in Kuwait.

Since its startup, the water filtration plant has been running smoothly with minimal trouble-shooting. For satisfactory results, the package took advantage of the following grades of media: Silica Sand, Anthracite, Activated Carbon, and Resin.

Silica Sand has a strong capability of holding back precipitates containing impurities making it a highly effective filter media Silica Sand is exclusively graded for water filtration plants. Its main features consist of filter sand size, hardness, and angularity. These features promote proper filtration.

Anthracite is a black coal that has been recognized and used as a water treatment since the ancient times. Anthracite is crushed to be used as a medium density filtration media. Some sediments are permitted to deeply penetrate into the bed due to its cracked shape. It features extensive filter runs, fewer head loss, and lower backwash rates.

Activated Carbon is closely related to powdered and granular charcoal. Its structure is composed of many pores with a very large surface area. Activated Carbon has been found to effectively remove chlorine and some heavy metals bound to organic molecules. It has a higher capability of eliminating larger amounts of contaminants from water than regular carbon.

Resin is an insoluble support structure that usually comes in the form of small beads created from an organic polymer substrate. Resin also has a highly porous structure on the surface which are sites with easily trapped and released ions. Resin is used in processes such as separation, purification, and decontamination. It is commonly used in water softeners and water purification.
