Water Challenges: Sanitizing chemical devices necessitates high quality water in order to thoroughly clean stains without adding unwanted minerals on the devices. The sum of these minerals are called total dissolved solids (TDS) and they produce water hardness on equipment. The result is scaling of minerals that lower the performance and appearance of the chemical devices as time goes on due to scaling. To prevent this issue from worsening, or occurring, tap water must be treated by reverse osmosis to eliminate unwanted impurities from the feed water before using as sanitation.
