EDI removes ionized and ionizable species from brackish water using electrically active media and an electrical potential (DC power) to affect ion transport. By using this type of purification technology, caustic and acidic types of chemicals are not required. The water which has been treated by RO-EDI has typically exceeded customer’s high-purity standards. The (RO-EDI) Water Treatment System came complete with a PLC with color touch screen (remote I/O), feed pumps, backwash pumps, multimedia filters, activated carbon filters, UV, break tank, booster pumps, double pass RO, UV, break tank, booster pump, EDI, Stainless steel distribution tank, and distribution skid.

    Ours is running almost every day for more than 6-months. Not even 1 issue came out so reliability is tops.
