Dupont FilmTec membrane elements provides a spiral wound design that is based on the FT30 thin-film composite polyamide membrane, which has continued to be the industry standard for reverse osmosis performance. The FilmTec Nanofiltration membrane is filled with three layers: an ultra-thin polyamide barrier layer, a microporous polysulfone interlayer, and a high-strength polyester support web. The nanofiltration membrane has been consistently reworked to generate higher rejection, greater membrane flux, and low fouling attainment. Thin-Film Composite (TFC Membrane) design
