Commercial RO System 15,000 GPD - USA

Product Description

Since the initial startup, the machine has been operating accordingly with minimal troubleshooting. An RO machine is manufactured for the purpose of removing large amounts of salts, minerals, and other contaminants from waters that are highly inconsumable. A high pressure pump is employed to fight the osmotic pressure of a natural process called “Osmosis”.

Osmosis naturally carries salt through a semi permeable membrane from an area with low saline concentration to an area with high saline concentration to gain an equal amount of saline concentration on both sides. Halting this natural process requires the assistance of a technology called "reverse osmosis". Reverse Osmosis is tasked with directing osmosis in the opposite direction. This is done by using a high pressure pump that applies extreme pressure to the highly saline concentrated side of the membrane, forcing salty water across the semi permeable membrane, allowing only water molecules to flow in while rejecting salts and other impurities from passing through. Finally, purified water comes out on the permeate side while salt and the other impurities are discharged into a drain from the concentrate side.

[custom-specifications]

Brackish water can be discovered in areas such as estuaries and river openings. Brackish water falls in the middle between fresh water and seawater. It isn’t as clean as fresh water, yet it isn’t as salty as seawater. Since brackish water is moderately salty, it isn’t encouraged for consumption. To produce purified water from brackish water, a reverse osmosis system relies on a process called “reverse osmosis” for assistance.
