Water Challenges: In countries like The Maldives, the main source of water is from sea. The attainability of water throughout the world has become an increasingly problematic issue. The main cause for the depletion of water sources is climate change, which has exacerbated pre-existing weather patterns and natural disasters to a whole new level. As the climate grows warmer and natural disasters such as floods, droughts, and erratic sea levels become more frequent, the availability of water bodies is lost. Furthermore, overpopulation has extended the risk of different water-stress inflicting troubles such as air pollution and growing consumption needs, which has made water the most pressing trouble to look out for in the next generation.

Applied Solution: The feed water is pumped from a beach well using a submersible pump, then it is collected in a storage tank and injected by a chlorination dosing system to get rid of any organic matter. The water is pumped using a feed and backwash pump to pass through a multi-media filter (turbidity removal) and activated carbon filter (organic and chlorine removal). Then the water is injected by PA 0100 antiscalant to prevent fouling or scaling the commercial desalination reverse osmosis systems. The system is controlled by an advanced microprocessor controller to make the system fully automatic and trouble free.
